How rare...
I do not remember the last time I looked out to the WEST in the morning and saw a rainbow...THAT is pretty cool! Now if those showers can hold together long enough to rain on our house...

It's a start...
A small storm is approaching Albuquerque from the south right now. Not really that impressive, but it's better than nothing!
I'll take your order...
Good morning everyone...my name is Jason, and I'll be your meteorologist for the day at 7AM as well as 6, 6:30 and 10PM. Our special is scattered thunderstorms with a side order of humid heat, prepared to taste...enjoy!

Rumblin' Bumblin' Stumblin'
Thunderstorms are rumbling all over the place, New Mexico! I'll let you know what the next seven days will be like at 5, 6, 6:30 and 10PM on KOB!
It should be our turn...
If we're going to have THIS many clouds, I believe we deserve a nice, steady, day-long rain from them...no? Calling Mother Nature now...hang on...

Send in the storms...
Thunderstorms are beginning to take shape over New Mexico, and they're getting STRONGER. Be sure to watch my forecast at 5, 6, 6:30 and 10PM on KOB Channel 4!
Roasting Roswell
Roswell should hit 100+ for the 38th time this afternoon...that's an all-time record for one year! It'll also be the 65th straight day of 90+...8 from a record. Whew! ABQ has hit 100+ twice...nowhere near what Roswell has dealt with...

Flooding concerns return...
Flash Flood Warning for the area around Los Alamos until 6PM. Thunderstorms are popping in other areas too...I'll give you all the details at 5, 6, 6:30 and 10PM on KOB!
Here we go Mariners...here we go!
Good job Mariners! Way to stop that losing streak! Woo hoo! That's 1 in a row! Well, 1 in a spot...on a dot...something. That's one! :)
Seattle Mariners
My Mariners have gone from 43-43 to 43-60. I thought that was bad. Then I saw the call that ended the 19-inning Pirates/Braves game. Wow.

Repite, por favor...
I loved hearing that rain late last night...I wouldn't mind a few more afternoons and evenings of that! Power outages...not so much, rain...very much!

A new kind of flood...
Yahoo, Comcast, Facebook, Twitter, Windows Live, Tumblr, Blogger, Google+. I hope there is Swift Water Rescue from a social media flash flood, too!

Finally...a thunderstorm!
I'm pretty sure I'm going to get my wish of 0.52" of rain...and then some! ABQ NE Heights getting pounded by a big thunderstorm! We have two cats...the first cat hid under the bed upon hearing the first clap of thunder. My second cat (named Stormy) is sitting next to me like nothing is amiss... :)
Let's do a switcharoo...
Okay, instead of 52 mph wind and a trace of rain like we had yesterday, I would like 0.52" of rain and only a trace of wind today...I'm not greedy.

My Saturday Wish
Nothing would make me happier than a slow, steady, day-long drenching of rain. I'll see what I can do...

Irish Weather in New Mexico
It seemed appropriate that we'd get rain during a Celtic music concert at Zoo Music tonight. It felt great! We had a double rainbow too...that's probably required. I couldn't get those Lucky Charms, though. Have a great weekend!

Time for more rain in ABQ...
It was so nice to finally get rain! We're now at a WHOPPING 0.33" for the year. What day/month/year/decade/century do YOU think the ABQ Sunport will reach a total of 1.00" of rain?

Finally some rain in ABQ!
It took a long time, but we finally received some rain in Albuquerque. 0.46" at the KOB studios so far, only 0.07" at the ABQ Sunport. Onward and upward!
Weather Today
The chances for some wet and stormy weather are improving. Nothing to write home about yet, but they're going the right direction! Actually, since it's 2011, maybe I should say: "Nothing to text (tweet) home (nest) about yet..."

Rain in Albuquerque?!?
Amazingly enough, Albuquerque received 0.03" of rain Monday afternoon...bringing the yearly total to a whopping 0.22". My ark is nearly finished...

Albuquerque this weekend
It looks like a hot weekend for Albuquerque with little to no chance for rain...highs in the 90s and lows near 70.
