Winter Storm

We have wet/snowy/icy roads, fog, gusty wind and freezing air in much of New Mexico right now.  More snow, wind and cold air is coming through the weekend.

Please be safe when driving.  This date already marks a national tragedy.  Do your best to prevent a commuting accident for you (and others) to remember, too.

Winter Is Coming

Winter begins one month from today, but try telling that to the Starks. Rain, snow, wind and cold are coming, New Mexico...especially tonight through Sunday. Please be safe and bring your pets (even direwolves) inside, too! Winter is coming.

Lyrid Meteor Shower

Late tonight and early tomorrow it will be time for the Lyrid meteor shower peak.  There will be some moonlight to contend with, but look to the east-northeast late tonight through early Monday morning...the moon should be setting about 4:00AM.  Thanks to Astronomy Magazine for this image...good luck everyone!  :-)
